The Fatted Calf Tagaytay

The Osso Buco is a different take of Calderetta but better and not as powering. The beef is super tender and paired with the mushy pea and herbs is superb. The roasted chicken was equally tender and soft like it melts in your mouth. We also had the roasted mushroom soup that has this naturally creamy taste. It was so good. The staff are friendly always smiling and gave a great service while we were there. The kids menu was good as well and my son had the mac and cheese and ate it all quickly. It was that good.

We had a wonderful dining experience at The Fatted Calf in Tagaytay! The food was delicious especially the steak, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed. They even surprised us with a complimentary cake for our anniversary, which made the evening even more special. Truly a memorable experience—highly recommended!

We just had our brunch here today to celebrate my birthday. The dining atmosphere is elegant but homey. The food were very fresh and delicious. It's worth the price. The staff are very kind and accommodating as well. We had a great dining experience here. The Fatted Calf is higly recommended if uou wanted to have an amazing dinjng experience. We will definitely come back here.

We were underwhelmed at first as a lot of items on the menu were not available and I think 990 per gr for Australian tbone is a bit much for this area. However we really enjoyed the Thai steak salad, shrimp spaghetti and crab dip, plus the dinner rolls were warm, soft and flavorful. Also the staff was very attentive and friendly

It’s a Thursday when we visited, around 5PM. I liked that the place is not crowded, but if there’s a lot of customers — they have plenty of room. They have no AC here but plenty of ceiling fans and windows so there’s ventilation. I like the interior design, it’s really homey and cozy. The food — it’s very good, balanced and well-seasoned. The menu is well curated. The price — for a restaurant in Tagaytay, I’m not surprised. But the prices are worth the serving, as all of the dishes we ordered are good for 2-3 person. I’m definitely coming back for the breakfast menu with my parents.

We had the absolute pleasure of enjoying brunch at Fatted Calf on Easter Monday, and it was an experience we won't soon forget. To our delight, we had the entire place to ourselves, making it feel extra special. But the real star of the show was the food – every single dish we ordered was simply divine and incredibly bang for the buck! My personal favorites were the decadent Crab Carbonara, rich and flavorful, and the Fresh Catch of the Day, which was a perfectly cooked Gindara (Black Cod). The fish boasted incredibly juicy meat and wonderfully crispy skin, served alongside a vibrant corn puree, delicate onion leeks, sweet edamame, and a touch of savory chorizo. It has easily become my new favorite fish dish! To cool down from the Philippine heat, the pineapple smoothie was a refreshing delight, and the classic strawberry shortcake provided the perfect sweet ending to a truly memorable meal. I've become quite hesitant to dine out lately due to disappointing food quality and prices, but Fatted Calf has completely restored my faith! This is now officially my favorite restaurant. Oh, and did I mention they are also pet-friendly?! Our Patchi enjoyed as well! Fatted Calf, you have truly won my heart! If you're looking for exceptional food, great value, and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further. We can't wait to return!

Service was great. All staff were kind, prompt, and kid-friendly. The minor downside was just the flies during our visit (it's an open-air restaurant, visited at lunch time). Food were made from fresh ingredients and each dish had a fresh and unique taste that we liked. The staff also explains about the dish every time it's being served.
